Trees for environment are as important as oxygen for human life and if we relate trees with human life, then we can really understand the importance of trees. They are important for us and environment both in following aspects:

• Trees are the natural source to provide us fresh air.


• Trees consume carbon dioxide and release oxygen, thus reduce pollution.


• Trees play an important role towards holding water, thus help maintaining a good level of water in earth.


• Trees play an important role in producing rain.

These are some of the importance of trees for human and environment. In other words, if we want to save human life and environment, then we have to save trees. We must learn about how to save trees because if all trees are cut, then following conditions will become prominent:

• There will be no fresh oxygen on earth


• There will be abundance of carbon dioxide, as trees will not be there to consume carbon dioxide


• There will be no rain, as trees play an important role in producing rain


• There will be natural calamities as trees play vital role towards stopped natural calamities


• There will be very less amount of water in earth, which causes scarcity of fresh water

To keep these situations away, save human life, and save environment, we must need to take an approach towards saving trees. We must save trees in our surrounding environment. A large amount of trees are being used to make paper, so we should limit the use of fresh paper and enhance the use of recycled paper to save trees. Given below are few suggestions that if considered will help saving trees:

• Recycle paper instead of throwing in a useless manner. One way to recycle paper is to sell paper to scrap merchant who deals in old paper. This will not only help recycling paper but also make you earn few bucks. Scrap merchant sells the collected paper to paper company where it is recycled to make paper that we often use as toilet paper, tissue rolls, and writing sheets.


• Do not take printouts until it is must to take printout.


• Interviewers should not ask candidates to bring hard copy of resume, as they already have soft copy of candidates’ resume.


• Subscribe for online utility bills, loan statement, bank statement, credit card statement, and other statements. Doing this will help saving lots of paper resulting in saving trees.


• Pay bills online but do not print their receipts until it is must.


• Do not take paper receipt at ATMs after transactions.


• Paper bags are very common. We should re-use paper bags as much as possible and recycle them at last.


• Take online subscription for magazines and newspapers to read them online.


• Use recycled paper instead of fresh paper as much as possible.
