- Acrobat Pro – any version will work; however, latest is recommended
- PDF should not have fancy fonts that Acrobat Pro cannot recognize; If PDF has fonts that Acrobat Pro cannot recognize then you will not be able to make changes in the text
Let us see how to edit text in PDF
Given below are the steps that will help you to make changes in the text in PDF file:
Step 1: Open a PDF file with Acrobat Pro.
Step 2: Click Tools in the Tool Bar. You will see a Tool bar on the Right Side of the PDF, as shown below:
Step 3: In the Tool Bar, select Contents. You will see Contents panel with options that will help you to edit text in PDF, as shown below:
Step 4: Click Edit Document Text in the Contents Panel. Now, you are ready to edit text in PDF.
Step 5: Click anywhere in the PDF or select text that you want to delete or modify. When you click in PDF or select text, a text box will appear showing that you can edit text in PDF, as shown below:
Step 6: Make changes in the text as required.
Step 7: Once you are done with making changes in the text, save the PDF file by pressing CTRL + S or through the File > Save or File > Save As menu.
