How to Split MP4 Video Files
While you do need to buy Video Splitter tool, you will be needing the latest version VLC Media Player, which comes with an Advanced option that lets you Split Videos.
Perform the following steps and get answer to How to Split MP4 Video Files:
Step 1: Click here to download and install VLC Media Player; if you do not have one.
Note: If you already have a VLC media player then ignore this step.
Step 2: Start VLC Media Player.
Step 3: Click View > Advanced. An Advanced tool with recording options will appear, as shown in below image:
Step 4: Open the MP4 file that you want to split.
Step 5: Go to the location from where you want to Split MP4 Video and press SHIFT + R together. It starts the recording.
Step 6: Let the recording goes on to the point where you want to split the video and then press SHIFT + R again.
When you press SHIFT + R again, the recording will be stopped and the Split MP4 Video file will be created in the Documents Folder (in Windows Vista, 7, and later versions) or My Documents folder (in windows XP). You can take the split video from there.
