Uninstalling Google Chrome – An easy and step by step process

There are several web browsers available in the market and among them Google Chrome is the latest one. This web browser encompasses only one field for both search engine and web address. Moreover, it by default displays thumbnails of previously accessed web pages to fasten the process of accessing web pages. Additionally, it is known for fast browsing. However, there are people who do not like the functioning of this search engine. Therefore, they want to uninstall it. This article describes the process of uninstalling Google Chrome in following two ways:

  • Uninstall from Control Panel

Uninstall from Windows Start Program Menu

Execute the following steps to uninstall Google Chrome from Windows Start Program Menu:

  1. Start your computer system.
  2. Select Start > All Programs > Google Chrome > Uninstall Google Chrome. The “Uninstall Google Chrome” dialog box will appear to let you confirm the process.
  3. Select the Also delete your browsing data check box to remove information about the websites visited i.e. to remove internet history.
  4. Click the Uninstall button. As soon as you click the Uninstall button, the feedback page of Google will appear asking you about the working feedback of this web browser.

Uninstall from Control Panel

This is another way of removing Google’s web browser from computer system. You just have to execute the following steps to remove Google Chrome from your computer system:

  1. Start your computer system.
  2. Select Start > Control Panel. The “Control Panel” window appears.
  3. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs option to explore it. If you do not see this option, then click the Switch to Classic View option in the left panel. As soon as you will explore the Add or Remove Programs option, the Add or Remove Program window will appear.
  4. Locate Google Chrome in the list of installed programs, select it, and click the Remove button. As soon as you click the Remove button, the “Uninstall Google Chrome” dialog box will appear to let you confirm the process.
  5. Click the Uninstall button. As soon as, you click the Uninstall button, the feedback page of Google will appear asking you about the working feedback of this web browser.

Provide feedback of this web browser if you want Google to improve it otherwise ignore the feedback page. These are two different ways for uninstalling Google Chrome. Hope the method described above will be beneficial.
